Anticipation

Getting close to the 31st so that means it’s getting close to regular posts again.  I’ve got a buffer going, and I’m still working on making it bigger.  It’s not quite as large as I want it to be, but it will serve its purpose.  I’m going to do a Tuesday/Thursday update schedule for now, and that should guarantee regular posts until the new year.

Life in the Fast Lane

Players will almost always want to take the path that leads to certain death.  As a GM, if you want the game to last more than an hour or so, you will have to steer them in the right direction from time to time.  Of course, from time to time, you will also want to hasten their deaths yourself.

I Fought the Law

The beautiful thing about NPCs is they have no life other than the one you give them.  They have no family commitments to worry about, no plans made, no schedules to keep.  This can help GMs move players toward a specific path without totally railroading the game.

Ring My Bell

As a GM, when giving your players instructions, keep them clear and simple.  However, be expecting the fact that even the clearest and most simple instructions can still be botched.  Usually in a new and exciting way.

Did you miss me?

Of course you didn’t.  Did I say a short vacation?  Well it turned into an extended period of absence.  Much needed.  I’m back now, and making comics again to litter the Internet.  I’m going to a Tuesday/Thursday update schedule for now, and I’m working on getting my buffer back so "extended absences" don’t happen.  Anyway, Tuesday will have a new comic up, and then the Thursday after that, and so on.
